What you get
Everything a Zim firm needs. Nothing it doesn't.
Trust accounting
Built around the LSZ Trust Accounting Guidelines.
Append-only ledger enforced at the database level — no entry can be edited or deleted after the fact, only reversed. Period reconciliations against your bank statement flag variance and demand a written explanation before they're closed. Separation of duties: an entry cannot be approved by the practitioner who recorded it.
ZIMRA-ready invoicing
Fiscalised tax invoices, USD or ZWG.
Invoices carry your BP, VAT and fiscal-device serial numbers. Multi-currency line items. The 15% standard rate is the default and toggleable per matter. When your fiscal device is configured, finalising an invoice goes through it automatically — when it's not, the system refuses to issue an unsigned bill.
AI document review
Grounded in your firm's own files.
Every claim the AI makes must cite a chunk of an actual document. The system verifies the cited text really exists in the chunk before it shows you the answer; any mismatch is flagged unverified, in red, with a "do not rely on" tooltip. Hallucination guardrails by default — required by the recent Zimbabwean Supreme Court rulings on AI-assisted submissions.
Conflict checks
Before you accept the matter, not after.
Trigram-fuzzy match across the entire party register. Surfaces near-misses and name variants automatically — "J. Nyati" matches "Joseph Nyati" matches "Mr Nyati". Every check is logged for the LSZ paper trail. Restricted parties stay searchable by the conflict engine even when hidden from regular staff.
Security & sovereignty
Your data, in Africa.
Hosted in af-south-1 (Cape Town) — your client data never crosses to another continent. Multi-factor authentication for every staff account. Tenant-level isolation enforced at the database. Append-only audit log with HMAC-signed integrity hashes. Cyber and Data Protection Act [Chapter 12:07] aligned, with a designated DPO field built into firm settings.
Confidential matters
Restricted matters & clients, properly.
Mark a matter or a client team-only and they vanish from every staff member outside the team — including the matter index, search, dropdowns, and the parties register. Administrators see everything. The conflict engine still scans firm-wide so a hidden client cannot accidentally be re-engaged.
How it works
From sign-up to first matter in under five minutes.

Firm name, your name, an email, a password. That's it. You'll land on your dashboard as the first administrator.
-
02
Invite your team
Send a single invitation email per partner, associate, paralegal or finance staff. Roles are clear: legal work, finance, or running the firm.

Open your first matter
Conflict-checked at intake. Connected to your trust ledger, your time-tracking, your invoicing, and your AI document review from minute one.
"Built around what an LSZ audit actually asks for, not what a generic practice-management vendor thinks it does."
— LexZim design notes, drawn from interviews with practitioners in Harare and Bulawayo.
